No doubt about it, this is a very high-quality app and service. If all you need is a “quick and dirty” note app, then Google Keep is probably a better choice, but Evernote offers a ton of additional features and functionality. It can probably replace two or three of your other apps all by itself. Unfortunately it doesn’t offer theme (dark mode) support so when I use it at night, it hurts my eyes. Check it out! – Ian Haney
So far it’s done everything it says it will do. A welcome departure from what most free apps claim and can’t deliver. I was having trouble with Google Keep and gave this an honest shot. The interface on desktop is convoluted, and I don’t like manually syncing notes. The fact that the ‘free version’ is limited to 2 devices detoured me even more. Now that Keep is up and running fine I’m moving on. – Jared Jaramillo
I’ve been using evernote for around 5 years now and it meets all my expectations for capturing and archiving all kinds of note formats, however the one thing that bugs me is not being able to drag and drop rearrange checklists you’ve already made without having to awkwardly copy and paste. This is essential for working with flow of thought lists and reorganizing for optimal use after. Otherwise works well. – Nicole Galinato
